Formatting Rules

  • Preambulatory Clauses: Start with an italicized participle/adjective and end with a comma (,).
  • Operative Clauses: Numbered sequentially, start with an underlined action verb, and end with a semicolon (;).
  • Final Clause: The last operative clause concludes with a full stop (.).
